Leadership in AEC
The Agile Frameworks AEC leadership team consists of Mike Anders and Brian K. Hase.
Mike Anders, president at Agile Frameworks, LLC, is a founding member of the team and has been employed by the firm since April 2011. In this capacity, Mr. Anders oversees all three practice areas: Software as a service (SaaS), consulting and managed services. He also has overall management responsibility for business development, finance, software development, infrastructure, support and shareholder relations. Prior to this position, Anders was CEO of Systems Consulting Group (SCG) of Minneapolis.
In addition to his roles with SCG, Anders was a senior manager with KPMG Consulting, Inc. in Sydney, Australia, where he was responsible for the company’s systems integration practice in Australia and Southeast Asia. He has also held positions with Barents Group, LLP (Washington, D.C.), Broadway & Seymour, Inc. (Charlotte, N.C.) and First Bank System (now USBank), covering a 30-year career in information technology.
Anders is well regarded in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry and has given numerous presentations to industry groups, including the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
Brian Hase, chief technology officer, is a founding member of the team at Agile Frameworks, LLC, and has been employed by the firm since April, 2011. In this capacity, Mr. Hase oversees the presales and product development efforts, while also having overall responsibility for all software development efforts for the MetaField®, AgilePort®, AgileMap® and AgileStamp® offerings. Prior to this position, Mr. Hase was employed at CTO by Braun Intertec, a leading provider of geotechnical and environmental engineering as well as drilling and construction materials testing services. It was while he was at Braun Intertec that Hase led the development of the software appliations that would become the foundation for Agile Frameworks.
Hase started his career in information technology in 1985 with Health Partners, where he won the President’s Award. He then left Health Partners to take a position with United Health Group (UHG). In the late 1990’s he was a company founder and principal for Halley’s Fifth, a development firm specializing in e-commerce development and integration. He was involved in all aspects of managing the company and client delivery. Hase then joined Systems Consulting Group (SCG) as director of consulting. He was responsible for developing the company’s business plan, service/solution set, marketing message and delivery model.
Hase earned his B.A. from Augsburg College and his M.S. in software engineering from the University of St. Thomas.
