NOVA Services was not happy with report quality and distribution of their previous solution. It was not designed to be used for their type of business. It worked for them at first, but as their reporting volume grew—by up to 4 times—the reporting became unmanageable. They needed a solution that was more efficient, could scale with their business, and produced high-quality reports.
NOVA Services’ previous solution didn’t have a specific structure, so every report looked a bit different, and a field tech could submit a report without all of the required information. With MetaField, reporting is more automated with information that is required. For non-conformances, they have configured a way to record a non-conformance and flag it to make sure it is addressed before the project is closed and billed.
Project managers who review reports on a daily basis now find they can review an increased number of reports much more efficiently. They don’t have to go back to the field tech to get the missing information.
