Boring Log Solution

Configurable well diagrams now supported

Added

Well diagram configurations on boring log reports are now available in MetaField's Boring Log solution.

These diagrams can be customized with your own images or use MetaField's standard well graphics.

Lab & Sample Management

Improvements to Sample Visibility and Check-In Workflow

Bug Fix

Fixed an issue where retained specimens appeared in the Sample Life Cycle tile when none existed.

Also resolved an issue that prevented edits during sample check-in via Review/QC.

Integrations

Enhancements to Forney Integration

Updated

Test data retrieval from Forney is now on-demand, rather than queued, for a faster workflow.

Capping methods and specimen ends are handled correctly, and fracture types can be set automatically based on the Forney break type value.

A scroll bar has been added to the Call Log screen for easier navigation.

Reporting

Scatter Plot Display

Bug Fix

Resolved three chart rendering issues:

Scatter plots now display correctly when sieve references are enabled
The zero air voids line no longer persists after clearing the specific gravity field
Axis unit intervals render properly in report previews

Report Display Fixes

Bug Fix

Resolved an issue causing an extra character to appear in depth fields on boring log report previews, and corrected report header concatenation order.

Forms Store

New and updated templates now available in the Forms Store

New and updated form templates are now available in the Forms Store, giving your team access to the latest industry standards and added functionality. It’s easy to bring these templates into your Forms Library and start using them right away.

For those who have access to the Forms Store, follow these three easy steps to access the Forms Store and import these templates into your Forms Library today!

Navigate to Admin > Select Forms & Reports Library > Click on the Forms Store button in the top right-hand corner.

Quickly locate new and updated templates by filtering in the search bar with "New" and "Updated" tags.
