Purpose

MetaField includes powerful configurable tools that let you customize how data is collected and reported—without programming. With these tools, you can design forms, build reports, and connect sample tracking to external templates, ensuring MetaField works the way your business does.

Our Forms & Reports Engine includes hundreds of pre-configured forms you can download and use via the MetaField Forms Store. However, you can also build and deploy custom data collection forms and reports using these tools:

• Form Designer – Build and customize data collection forms for field and lab workflows.
• Report Designer – Design report layouts and outputs for your custom forms.
• Setting Up Sample Tracking with External Reports – Link sample tracking processes to external report templates.
