Who can use this feature?
Enterprise Package users—or Professional Package users as a purchasable add-on
Purpose
MetaField Training Center includes role-specific training guides to help you and your team:
- Learn how the system works
- Reduce time onboarding new or seasonal employees
- Reinforce best practices for using MetaField
These guides can be accessed via the Task List, an in-app checklist accessible from the MetaField home page. This article will show you how to enable the Task List for your users from the Admin module.
How to Enable Task List/Premium Content (Admin)
- Direct your MetaField Admin to the "Administration" module
- Navigate to "Users" under "Security"
- Open the user record you want to edit (

- Toggle "Training Center" to "Yes" at the bottom of the General Info tab
- If your firm uses Office Access, assign user to "Training Office" in the Office Access tab
- Click Save
- Repeat these steps for any additional users.

Accessing the Task List
Once your users have the Training Center setting enabled in Admin, they will see the Task List in the bottom-right of their home page. Users can click the Task List to access all available guides for their role. Current modules supported include Admin, Field, Lab (LIMS), and Schedule.
