Lab & Sample Management
Lab Test Assignment Experience
Boring Log subscribers will be the first to access a new lab test assignment workflow—part of a broader set of lab enhancements planned for 2026.
This release introduces a redesigned screen for managing lab tests associated with boring logs. With this update, users can assign tests in bulk, designate rush status, track progress through completion, and easily navigate between test results and their originating boring logs.
Sample Date, Test Age & Test Date in the Receive Queue
The To Receive queue has been enhanced to surface key details directly in the list view. Lab technicians can now see Sample Date, Test Age, and Test Date at a glance—eliminating the need to open individual sample records for this information.
Test Dates No Longer Off by One Day
Resolved an issue where Concrete, Grout, and Masonry sample test dates could display one day off in the field module under certain conditions.
Test Age Now Displays Correctly in Review
Boring Log Export & Visualization
Fence Diagrams
AGS Data Extracts Available for Configuration
Boring Log users can now export data using the AGS file format, a widely supported standard across many geotechnical and boring log systems.
This makes it easier to share data with customers, DOTs, and other external systems. Contact our team to configure AGS exports for your customizable boring log forms.
Scatter Plot Tooltips Improved
Resolved an issue in DIY Test Forms scatter plot charts where tooltips could disappear too quickly when hovering. Tooltips now remain visible, making data points easier to view and interpret.

A new ORDINAL function is now available in the Form Designer expression builder.
This enhancement allows users to reference ranked values within Data Grid and Nested Form fields, enabling more advanced calculations and dynamic expressions.

Personalized Data Review Available in Activity
Rolling out in the next couple of weeks is a new table component that allows review of activities to be customized according to your preference for column visibility, size, and order. This new table will allow for faster assessment of field activity so reports can be generated quickly, and customers can receive their results sooner.
Streamlined Report Actions when Reviewing Activities
Report actions have been grouped into a dedicated “Reports” dropdown, simplifying access and improving usability across grid views.
This new grouping will be introduced in tandem with the table updates outlined above.

Performance Improvements Across Lab, Dashboard, and Data Exports
Implemented several behind-the-scenes enhancements to reduce database load and improve performance for the lab testing tile, dashboard views, and safety data exports—delivering a faster, more responsive experience.
These improvements will roll out to customers over the coming weeks.
